Site Update: 5/21/2019

Hello everyone! I do not get to post very often on here, so I apologize for being inactive. I’ll give you guys an update on how life is going: last year, I got a job at McDonald’s and I worked there until the end of December when I quit. I dealt with a lot of drama and some of the crew even made me cry. I proceeded to move on from this ‘toxic’ job and got my current job which would be at Hardee’s. I’ve been working there for almost 5 months. I’m currently dealing with a customer trying to get me fired so it’s making me rethink my job. I’v decided I need to move onto a better job since I have a hospital bill over $1000 I am still paying on, a $300 doctor bill, and a phone plan for $45 a month I am trying to keep. Life is a little stressful and my depression has hit me hard again, but I am trying to live my life and trying so hard to be happy. I am also not sure what I will do about this blog, but this is my current update. See you next time!

Update 5/22/2017

Hello everyone! Sorry that I have not been updating as often.. I’ve been busy with school and trying to live my life. Good news is that I passed all my classes and I have graduated with 2 majors: Mobile and Game Design and Webpage Design.

I’m also trying to battle my depression, try to lose weight, and find my purpose in life. I hope to be able to find these things and have some place to vent if I need it. I am trying to be happy with my life and with my boyfriend. I will try to make the best of life!

Thank you for reading 🙂

Favorite Anime # 1 – Ghost Hunt

One of my favorite supernatural anime is Ghost Hunt. I accidentally found the English dubbed version online and watched that one, at first not realizing that it was English dub until the characters started talking. At the time, I thought, “Huh that’s interesting” since I did recognize the voice who plays Shibuya Kazuya from the DS game Lux Pain (a recommended game, but the English translation that was released is a bit atrocious at times).

Synopsis: While at school, Taniyama Mai and her friends like to exchange ghost stories. Apparently, there is an abandoned school building on their campus that is the center of many ghost stories. During the story, they are interrupted by a mysterious male figure. The person turns out to be Shibuya Kazuya, a 17-year-old who is president of the Shibuya Psychic Research Company. He was called by the principal to investigate the stories surrounding the abandoned school building.

The next day, on the way to school, Mai passes the school building in question. While examining a strange camera she spotted inside, she gets surprised by Kazuya’s assistant. Unknowingly interfering with the investigation, Mai breaks the camera and Kazuya’s assistant gets injured.

Kazuya forcefully hires Mai in order to pay for the camera and replace his injured assistant. From that point on, Mai begins to learn about the paranormal world and the profession of ghost hunting. (Courtesy of MyAnimeList)

Rate: 10/10

Comments: I really loved the anime. This is one of the anime that I will very rarely ever watch in English dub. I was so captured by the story that 25 episodes in, it makes me wish this was one anime that would have gotten a season 2. I had never watched a ghost hunting anime before, but I like anything that had to do with the supernatural stuff. If you like supernatural anime dealing with ghost stories and ghosts, this is one that you can watch!

Bonus! For those interested in Lux Pain for the Nintendo DS, look into it! It’s worth checking out, I promise!
